Learn about the Wellness Through Mustangs™ Program incorporating Mustangs in work with individuals and groups for self-awareness, team dynamics and dealing with pressure. The way we handle pressure and mistakes interferes with our relationships with others, animals and ourselves but developing the AlphA Mindset can set the conditions for you to raise your pressure threshold while at the same time becoming truer to your own nature. Working with Mustangs through this model shows you how to build your mental tools instead of focusing on the external rewards from achieving the end goal, allowing the endorphin kick to reward yourself from the inside out.
The Mustangers
Bruce serves as one of "The Mustangers" with the Mustang Summit, coming into various locations to work with young Mustangs to prepare for successful adoptions. In turn, those Mustangs are helping their people to work on mental, physical and emotional health. In 2023, Summits in Colorado and New Mexico brought Mustangs to 12 new adopters through the gentling process. The Rocky Mountain Horse Expo in March 2024 is the next upcoming scheduled event incorporating the Mustang Summit.
Finding Congaree
Bruce's own personal journey into working with Mustangs began with a TIP horse from Wyoming in 2023. He was adopted during the South Congaree Adoption Event in Columbia, SC, so his name became Congaree because of the SC "Palmetto Tree" emblazoned on his face. Ree has developed into an integral member of the team in working with our clients. The purity of the Mustang has been a powerful aspect of helping others.
